Post Project Costs and Revenue
Scenario 1: Individual Project
Posting Project Costs ensures the recognition of Project costs associated with materials shipped to Customers
- Project > Extended Menu > Post Project COGS
- Click Refresh button on Project Profit Tab
- Note: WIP has now moved to Actual and Earned Material Columns
Scenario 2: Post COGS for All Projects
- Main Menu > Projects > Post COGS For All Projects
- Choose Post Date
- Choose Company No. and click OK
Scenario 3: Posting Project Revenue for Individual Project
Posting Project Revenue will recognize the Revenue Earned to Date based on the Job Method and the value of Percent Labor Complete at the time of posting
- Project > Extended Menu > Post Project Revenue
- Refresh screen. Note: WIP has now moved to Actual and Earned Material Columns
- A window will pop up asking for confirmation of action. Confirm
- A window will pop up asking for a Date, enter Date and click Ok
- Click Refresh button on Project Profit Tab. Note: Amount from Un-Post. Rev field in earned column will be moved to Earned field in Earned column
Scenario 4: Post Project Revenue for All Projects
- Main Menu > Projects > Post Revenue For All Projects
- Choose Post Date
- Choose Company No. and Click OK
