Service Calls can be scheduled from either the Call record itself or from the Resource Console
From a Service Call
- Open a Call record and click the Schedule / Time Bill tab
- In the Dispatch Schedules grid, click the Add icon to open a new Dispatch Schedule record
- In the Dispatch Schedule form add the following details:
- User ID – This is the User that will be doing the work. Only Users with the job role TECHNICIAN will be listed
- Start – The date and time the work will begin
- End – The date by which the work must be completed
- Comment – Additional information required for the Technician
- Click the Save icon
After a Call is scheduled, note the following:
- The Call is visible on the Resource Console and in the Service Overview workflow scheduled Calls bucket
- The Call can be manually dispatched or can be automatically dispatched to the User based on your system setup
From Resource Console
- Go to Projects > Resource Console and click the Edit icon
- Click the Calendar icon, and select the date for the Call. This moves the position of the Calendar grid to the selected date
- In the Dispatch Queue tab, highlight the Call you want to schedule, then drag your mouse across the time frame in the Calendar grid
- Click the Save icon
